Great analysis- I love the way you guys pull this together to make a clear point. But is this just Clinton bashing? Wasn't there anyone defending cutting the gas tax? No one?

Yes, there was a lobbyist from Shell Oil who thought it was great.

This topic pisses me off. I'm so tired of politics as usual.

Hillary says she'll get the oil companies to pay for it... Yeah right, like the oil companies wont just pass the cost on to the consumers. What a joke!

I happen to work in new media, with podcasts such as Veracifier, and it has been one of my favorite resources just because of the concise but well done cuts of views and news. This is the democratic medium.

This isn't Clinton bashing; bashing is personal and usually hyper-attacks. This is a very telling issue that directly coorelates with what is polled as the largest voting issue now: the economy.
She is contradicting herself in how important experience not just by dismissing the experts and advisers, but by ignoring the fact Obama has legitimate experience with this legislation and it is not an effective plan.

I wrote a more extensive review and mention of Neil Abercrombie's views at my blog... http://nessajennings.wordpress.com. I think its a very interesting issue and I also think voters will see through this.

    Thanks for the always-fresh content.

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

The paragraph above now a day just looks like words without meaning, if you don’t recognize these words; it is the preamble of the Constitution of The United States of America. Somewhere the Constitution has become lost, along with the people which it stands for. John F Kennedy said it best “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what can you do for your country”. The American people need to stop looking to these so called bureaucrats with there empty promises and worthless solutions. What Americans need to do is form its own lobbyist group, by the people for the people. You know how the old saying goes "it takes money to influence public policy", ok maybe that's not how the old saying goes; it should because that's how it's done today. Once America realizes this, then we will truly have the power to change our country.
